There was no place for diplomacy – these were the comments of a robust group of 11-13 year olds from Søndermark School, a public school in Billund, Denmark. They had been invited along to the LEGO Foundation’s first session of NEXT KIDS TECH, an event at which children and adults together were encouraged to walk and debate the new digital avenues in learning and play.

Educators Team Up in North America: LEGO Education's First Advisory Panel After a competitive application process, 27 educators from across the United States were selected for the LEGO Education Advisory Panel (LEAP). These educators represent grades K-12, and will collaborate with LEGO Education to develop classroom solutions and curriculum that elevate science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts and 21st century learning skills. More than 1,300 educators applied for the one-year commitment, which began in April.
