Rock the LEGO house!

Rock the LEGO house!

Dad thumps the drums, Mum keeps the rhythm on that old base. Young Son demonstrates his skills with a guitar solo. While Kid Sister – mike at the ready – prepares for the next verse as it rolls across the display.

The whole family is having fun with ... LEGO Rock Band. The on‑screen LEGO backdrop sets the scene.

All this will soon be a reality on a game console near you, the result of a development plan recently launched by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, Harmonix, MTV Games – and the LEGO Group.

Play at Home
“Rock Band” is a game that enables you to shine as a rock star in your own home. The instruments are linked to your home video game console, which registers your ability to hold a rhythm, play the correct chords, and stay in tune.

Rock Band offers gamers the chance to play guitar, bass, drums and sing. It is based on the same principles as Guitar Hero and Singstar. Now the LEGO version is set to hit home screens.

Big Fans
“Harmonix and MTV Games are big fans of the LEGO game franchise and excited at the prospect of working with TT Games to develop a new take on Rock Band that focuses on great music and LEGO humour that’s fun for the whole family,” says Bob Picunko, senior vice president of Electronic Games for MTV Games.
