The LEGO Group's Sustainability Report 2007

These years, we see sustainability grow increasingly important to consumers in general. As a leading toy brand, the LEGO Group is also committed to delivering on this parameter. Therefore, we are pleased to announce the new Sustainability Report covering the 2007 performance.

In the LEGO Group, sustainability is defined as the right balance between value creation, building the brand and responsible behaviour. When it comes to behaving responsibly, the LEGO Group will focus on the following 5 themes:

• Protect natural resources to the benefit of future generations
• Reduce climate impacts
• Inspire children to care for sustainable development
• Children’s development, health and safety
• Employees’ health and well-being

In the report, you can also experience how LEGO play is more than just play and read about the essential role that product safety plays for the LEGO products. As stakeholder dialogue plays a decisive role in the LEGO Group, your input on how you see the further development within this area is – as always – more than welcome. Please use the blow e-mail for your comments.

The Sustainability report is available HERE in a PDF version (2MB) or it could be ordered in a printed version by sending an e-mail to Sustainability@lego.com with your name, address and optional an indication of the reason for your interest in the report. Please note that the report is available in Danish and English.
