LEGO Fan Masterpieces at BrickFest 07!

214 Adult Fans of LEGO signed up for this year’s BrickFest that was held earlier this month in Portland Oregon. More that 1,000 LEGO models - from trains over BIONICLE to a complete collection of every space-set ever produced - were showcased by LEGO fans.

Portland, OR students win FIRST LEGO LEAGUE World Festival championship!

A group of middle-schoolers from the Winterhaven School in Southeast Portland, Oregon won the top award at the 2007 FIRST LEGO LEAGUE World Festival in Atlanta, Georgia last week. You can read more about these creative students on www.kgw.com.

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE World Festival 2007 starts today!

FIRST is thrilled to host the FIRST LEGO League Nano Quest World Festival in conjunction with the FIRST Championship in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia Dome and Georgia World Congress Center, April 12 - 14, 2007.

FLL will host 94 teams from 22 countries. Teams will participate in a 2½ day tournament celebration of their robotic and challenge project accomplishments.

This year’s theme, Nano Quest, challenged the children to explore a new frontier that impacts every facet of society, from medicine to computers to the environment.
